If you are living in the same world as I am… you might want to prepare for the apocalypse. You know, just in case.
Joking aside, when things get rough it is better to be well prepared physically and mentally. Obviously nothing can prepare you for the worst that the world has, or that mankind has conceived, in that case I hope we die quickly with as little pain as possible. But all things considered, a disciplined and purposed life is well worth the effort.
Strength comes from taking care of yourself and others. It’s hallmarks are patience, endurance, perspective and love. Truly loving yourself is most times displayed in being disciplined to do the right thing. Eating cake for breakfast, maybe not a sign of self-love.
Yeah, love and taking care of others, what about the apocalypse, the looting, the zombies, the fast cars with flame-throwers?
Well, I sure hope it doesn’t come to any of that, but if it does the only way for society to survive is to create some form of community so we should think now about what that community looks like.
To me, a difficult future only heightens the call to attain and maintain health, fitness, vigilance, and discipline. Most mammals survive not by domination but cooperation, mankind especially so
